Non capisco perche' James Taylor ha deciso di cantare un testo che usa parole pseudo-inglesi che pero' non hanno alcun senso grammaticale in inglese, senza neanche tentare di correggerlo....adesso probabilmente e' tornato in America pensando che gli Italiani sono tutti una massa di idioti che non sanno parlare inglese correttamente. La mia teoria e' che Elio o Rocco Tanica gli hanno dato un foglio di carta, James ha pensato "this is so stupid but it might actually work in Italy!", e cosi' lo ha cantato durante la recording session in studio.

This is a nice tune, but I prefer to not listen to the past stanza. It is a bit depressing to hear a beautiful story ruined. I suppose the message is do not be deceived by psychopathic young men, but hopefully there are not so many. Andy M. Stewart sings the Banks of the Bann, and he says that there are so many songs about the Bann, that most young women should avoid going there if they do not want to be deceived. The same with the Banks of Red Roses. It is a beautiful performance nevertheless.
